Tamara Davidson entered the event industry by pure serendipity. After completing a Master’s Degree and securing a position in the corporate sector, Tamara searched for a hobby to occupy her spare time. Her sister recommended a class in the art of stained glass. Tamara, who had never even taken an art class beyond the requisite in middle school, thought the idea was odd, but embraced the suggestion anyway.

Tamara loved the class. She loved working with her hands, creating stained glass panels and lamps. This class was the foundation that led to enrollment in numerous workshops, seminars and advanced classes such as color theory, social stationery, and floral design theory among others. Subsequent classes, including the fundamentals of floral design, were taken at the Rittner’s School for Floral Design.

Tamara also pursued her interest in the art of custom social stationery. Working with a variety of papers and accessories of different textures and colors gave her the opportunity to create beautiful custom invitations that set the tone for an event.

Friends and family began to take notice of her new found expertise and requested her assistance with their memorable events. As her experience broadened, she became attracted to the execution of a whole event from concept to completion. As a result, she professionally trained through the Association of Certified Wedding Consultants to incorporate event planning into her growing creative portfolio.

Soon after, Tamara began working at Charlotte Design where for the next 4 years she received extensive training in the art of high-end French floral design under the talented and watchful eye of Yvette Viard.

Tamara continues to attend seminars and workshops to hone her skills. She strives to deliver first class products and service to clients. Tamara’s creations whether floral design, event planning, or custom stationery are created with pride and great acumen.
